 beyond the dusty Oklahoma hills of his youth. When his wanderings and ramb
 lings brought him to New York City in the 1940s he was introduced—both p
 ersonally and professional  into a vibrant Jewish culture that he wholehe
 artedly embraced. Dust Bowls and Jewish Souls explores the impact it had o
 n his songwriting and includes Guthrie’s moving relationship with his mo
 ther-in-law\, prominent Yiddish poet Aliza Greenblatt. This film presents 
 a whole new side of Woody Guthrie that will change your view of one of Ame
 rica’s most celebrated songwriters and cultural icons.\n\nThere will be
