  Basketball Tournament\, a small group of Jewish basketball coaches gather
 ed\, driven by a shared desire for connection and community. Their vision 
 laid the foundation for the Jewish Coaches Association\, established in 20
 04. Since then\, the JCA has become a prominent network\, focused on suppo
 rting the growth and development of Jewish individuals in sports across al
 l levels\, both nationally and internationally\, with more than 800 member
 s including the four Jewish coaches whose teams made it to the men’s and
  women’s Final Four tournaments in 2025.\n\nMatt Elkin\, an assistant ba
 sketball coach at Columbia University\, is executive director of the JCA. 
 He previously served as head of basketball operations at Yale University a
 nd as an assistant coach with Team USA’s Under-18 squad that won gold at
