B’nai Sholom Offers Beginning Hebrew Course

B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation in Albany is offering a beginning Hebrew class for those who want to learn the language of their faith.

The “Beginning Hebrew” course will be offered Sunday mornings starting September 22 from 9:30 until 10:30 at B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation, 420 Whitehall Road, Albany.

Taught by congregant Carol Smith, this course will cover the names and sounds of the Hebrew alphabet with lots of practice reading. The class is geared toward beginning Hebrew readers, but it also is appropriate for anyone who wants to brush up on reading skills.

Fee for the course is $45 ($30 for B’nai Sholom members) plus cost of the required textbook. Registration for the class is required. B’nai Sholom will offer the course only if three or more students are registered.
