Purim 2024 Celebration

Come one, Come All in Lightness of Heart or in Need of a Laugh
That’s right, it’s almost time for Purim 5784!

This year’s highlights will include a delicious potluck prior to the reading of the Megillah, as well as entertainment where you do expect it (e.g., during the Esther/Haman story) and shenanigans where you don’t (virtually any other time during the evening).
Shtick can include storytelling, a skit and corny jokes.

AND if you are reading this before Saturday, March 23, and wishing you had signed up to be part of the fun, it’s not too late to join the cadre of entertainers.

Saturday, March 23 – Rundown of the evening’s events:

• 5:30pm – enjoy a potluck dinner. For details & sign up, see link for the potluck:

Expect to enjoy lovely food and conversation with friends, with periodic comedic interruptions.

• 6:30pm – move to the Sanctuary to enjoy a costume parade.
• 7:00pm – the reading of the Story of Esther begins.

Portions will be handed out to those who wish to read.
